FLATS offers online language tests in 49 languages that recommend students for credit at more than 500 colleges and universities across the USA. Most FLATS tests cover the first three semesters of foreign language study, with more advanced tests being developed.

How will my test be proctored?
Online: Proctor360
You may use Proctor360 to proctor your test from home. They charge an additional fee. After you register for FLATS, you'll receive instructions to register with Proctor360. You'll need a working camera and microphone (a laptop works; Chromebooks do not).
In-person
You may request an approved FLATS proctor to administer your test in person. Some proctors charge a small additional fee. You'll choose a proctor during registration and contact them directly to schedule your test.
